Sandboxie - утилита для контроля за работой различных программ. После установки утилиты, взаимодействия всевозможных программ с системой будут происходить через неё. Это даст возможность удалять следы последнего сеанса работы приложений. Таким образом, Sandboxie выступает своеобразным фильтром, в котором задерживаются все изменения, вносимые в систему различными программами. Благодаря такому подходу, возможно удалять установленные шпионские модули и промо-утилиты, проникающие на компьютер, например через браузер. Таким же образом утилита следит за работой почтовой программы, направляя в свою "ловушку" прикрепленные к письмам вирусы и трояны.
Основная функция, выполняемая данной программой – защита и сохранение вашего компьютера в рабочем состоянии. Достигается это путём создания в системе «временного хранилища», наподобие кэша. Все действия в Интернете, производимые пользователем, все процессы по установке программного обеспечения используют не изменение перманентных параметров системы, а временное хранилище Sandboxie. Благодаря этому можно достаточно легко сделать «откат». Программа настраивается на использование с любыми браузерами, поддерживается и почтовый клиент, но только один – Outlook Express. Целевая аудитория программы Sandboxie достаточно велика, от людей тестирующих программное обеспечение до рядовых пользователей, использующих Интернет, или просто не желающих навредить своему компьютеру неизвестной программой.
Поддерживаются 32- и 64-битные операционные системы.
Внимание: программа бесплатна только для некоммерческого использования, но с такими ограничениями:
1) нагскрин при запуске программ в песочнице или при запуске самой Sandboxie, один раз в сутки(или после перезагрузки windows).
2) Принудительный запуск программ ("Force") в песочнице даже когда запуск осуществляется по клику на самом ярлыке программы (отслеживание таких программ ведётся по имени или по папке).
3) Невозможность запуска программ в более чем одной песочнице одновременно.
Sandboxie is a proprietary sandbox-based isolation program developed by Ronen Tzur, for 32-bit Windows NT-based operating systems. It creates a sandbox-like isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying the local or mapped drive. An isolated virtual environment allows controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing.Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.
When you run a program on your computer, data flows from the hard disk to the program via read operations. The data is then processed and displayed, and finally flows back from the progam to the hard disk via write operations. Sandboxie changes the rules such that write operations do not make it back to your hard disk.
- Intercept changes to both your files and registry settings, making it virtually impossible for any software to reach outside the sandbox.
- Traps cached browser items into the sandbox as a by-product of normal operation, so when you throw away the sandbox, all the history records and other side-effects of your browsing disappear as well.
Benefits of the Isolated Sandbox:
- Secure Web Browsing: Running your Web browser under the protection of Sandboxie means that all malicious software downloaded by the browser is trapped in the sandbox and can be discarded trivially.
- Enhanced Privacy: Browsing history, cookies, and cached temporary files collected while Web browsing stay in the sandbox and don't leak into Windows.
- Secure E-mail: Viruses and other malicious software that might be hiding in your email can't break out of the sandbox and can't infect your real system.
- Windows Stays Lean: Prevent wear-and-tear in Windows by installing software into an isolated sandbox.

SMPlayer is a complete media player for Windows and Linux. It uses the award-winning MPlayer as playback engine which is capable of playing most video and audio formats (avi, mkv, wmv, mp4, mpeg... see list). It uses its own codecs, so you don't need to install any codec packs. You can also play DVD discs and Internet streams, supports an impressive list of features and options.
The list of supported formats encompasses both major audio and video codecs and does a good job of trying to differentiate itself from the competition. One of the best features is that the player will remember your settings per video, so if you quit the app in the middle of playing, it'll restart it with the exact same settings as before.

After watching a video in a Web site, you may want to save the video file into your local disk for playing it offline in the future. If the video file is stored in your browser's cache, this utility can help you to extract the video file from the cache and save it for watching it in the future. It automatically scans the entire cache of Internet Explorer and Mozilla-based Web browsers (Including Firefox) and finds all video files that are currently stored in it. It allows you to easily copy the cached video files into another folder for playing/watching them in the future. If you have a movie player that is configured to play flv files, it also allows you to play the video directly from your browser's cache.
Using VideoCacheView
VideoCacheView doesn't require any installation process or additional DLL files. In order to start using it, simply run the executable file (VideoCacheView.exe)
After running VideoCacheView, it scan the cache folders of your Internet Explorer and Mozilla browsers, as well as the temporary folder of Windows. Wait 5 - 30 seconds until the scanning process is finished, and the main window of VideoCacheView should display all the video files that are currently in cache.
After the video list is displayed, you can use one of the following options, assuming that the video files are stored in the cache ('In Cache' = Yes):
Play Selected File: Allows you to play the video file directly from the cache, assuming that you have a video player that is configured to play .flv files.
Copy Selected Files To: Allows to copy the video files from the cache into another folder, so you will be able to play them in the future.
If you have a video file that is not stored in the cache ('In Cache' = No), you can use the 'Open Download URL In Browser' option (F8) in order to download the video file. You can also use the 'Copy Download URLs' option (Ctrl+U) to copy the download URLs to the clipboard, and then use then in your browser or in other download software.
Be aware that some Web sites may not allow you to download a video file in this way.
Flash Video Files In Temporary Folder
Each time that a Web browser plays a Flash video file, the .flv file is saved into the temporary folder of Windows. Normally, you cannot copy this temporary file to another folder, because the flash player locks the file exclusively. Also the file is automatically deleted when you close the Web browser.
VideoCacheView displays the flash files in the temporary folder, and allows you to copy them into another folder. VideoCacheView can handle temporary flash files created by Internet Explorer, Mozilla/Firefox, Opera Web browser. Be aware that you must wait until the browser finish to download them. otherwise, the copied files will be corrupted.
Playing Video Files Directly From The Cache
Most Web sites today use Flash video files (.flv extension) for playing video inside the Web page.
VideoCacheView doesn't provide a build-in video player, but if you already have a video player that is configured to play .flv files, VideoCacheView will be able to use it for playing the video files directly from the Web browser's cache.
